UNDERSTANDING ABUSE & DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

What Is Abuse?

Abuse is a pattern of behaviors used by one person to gain power and control over another. It can happen to anyone women, men, and children regardless of age, background, or status.

Abuse does not always leave visible marks. It can be emotional, physical, sexual, financial, or psychological, and it often escalates over time.
